Job summary

Radiant Systems Inc. is seeking an on-site Field Service Engineer to support West regional customers and, as needed, other regions. The role includes troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of semiconductor processing equipment, with training paired with teammates and opportunities for travel.

Ideal candidates have an engineering or electronics background, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer interaction skills. Travel to domestic and international sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
• Troubleshoots equipment problems; maintains records and reports as required
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime
• Orders and installs parts
• Responds to emergency service calls as required
• Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance
• Performs upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
• Remains current on equipment/tools through training, manuals,Periodicals, and other relevant materials
• Upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles and tools
• Maintain standards of conduct acceptable to TEA and customers to preserve site credentials
