Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC, a multi-strategy hedge fund, is seeking an Investment Analyst for the Technology (Semiconductors) Long/Short Equity team in Norwalk, CT. The candidate will conduct fundamental research, build detailed financial models, and monitor industry trends to support risk-managed portfolio construction.

Ideal applicants have 1–5 years of public-equity experience, strong analytical skills, and proficient communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of relevant experience focused on semiconductor public equities.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial statements, modeling, and valuation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research and analysis on semiconductor companies.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and macro factors affecting the sector.
• Support portfolio manager in portfolio construction and risk management.
• Participate in meetings with management teams and analysts; update investment theses as needed.
• Continuously refine theses based on new information and market developments.
