Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an Equipment Training Engineer to lead hands-on technical instruction, troubleshoot systems, and maintain the center's training tools. You will teach across nine core domains, shape curriculum, and ensure safe, compliant demonstrations in a high-tech fab environment in Phoenix, AZ.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Master's preferred), vendor/tool expertise, and strong mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; master's preferred.
• Experience as an internal trainer or equipment mentor in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Vendor & tool expertise with major equipment manufacturers (e.g., Applied Materials, ASML, Lam Research, TEL) or key component suppliers.
• Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• 40% | Technical Instruction & Troubleshooting Support: Deliver hands-on training across nine core domains and assist with diagnostics.
• 40% | Equipment & Tool Maintenance: Perform inspections, calibration, and preventive maintenance of training tools and kits.
• 10% | Training Material Updates & Trainee Guidance: Update materials and guide new hires in a cleanroom environment.
• Coordinate with vendors for tool servicing, spare parts delivery, and seminars.
