Job summary

TSMC Washington is seeking a capable technician to join our on-site team in Camas, WA, performing tool maintenance and repairs while maintaining detailed equipment logs. You will work with vendors, Equipment Engineers, and technicians to improve overall tool performance and ensure certification status.

Position requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with vendors, Equipment Engineers, Equipment Technicians and other tool owners to improve area/tool performance.
• Perform basic tool maintenance and repairs according to operating instructions.
• Provide accurate information for equipment logs, repair data, and tool status at shift pass down.
• Certification on tools.
• Support the Thin Film - PVD area with other tasks as needed.
