Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking candidates transitioning from military service for a Semiconductor Equipment Technician Intern under the SkillBridge program. You will maintain, repair, and optimize complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure world-class production performance.

Ideal applicants have a solid technical background, are comfortable with 12‑hour schedules, including weekends and holidays, and can work well with cross-functional teams in a high‑tech environment.

Qualifications

• Current active-duty military status and SkillBridge eligibility.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to work 12-hour compressed schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Background in electrical/electronic tech, mechatronics, or related field.
• Or 3 years hands-on maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation
• Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs
• Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues
• Interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
• Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
