Job summary

Acara Solutions in North Phoenix is seeking an Equipment Technician for a temp-to-perm role in the semiconductor industry. You will work in a cleanroom, monitor wafer production, and perform preventive maintenance on 300mm equipment to keep lines running.

The position offers starting pay of $27/hour with a 15% shift differential for night shifts, training Mon–Fri 8:00–5:00, followed by 12-hour day or night shifts on a rotating schedule, 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• STEM bachelor degree holders encouraged for Engineer roles.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cleanroom environment and monitor wafer production using tracking systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipment.
• Conduct detailed visual inspections following maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and system error messages.
• Analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts to ensure product quality.
• Support spare parts inventory and lifecycle management.
• Defect troubleshooting on 300mm tools in a 90%+ active cleanroom.
• Wear full PPE and assist with component handling (20-100 lbs as needed).
