This position will be based in the McKinney, TX area - Relocation assistance provided.

Schedule: Direct Hire with our client, Full-time; Monday - Friday, (NIGHT SHIFT)

Pay Rate: Up to $45/hr. depending on experience; 15% Shift Differential for Night Shift.

Join our dynamic Semiconductor EPI Manufacturing Team as a Facilities & Maintenance Technician and contribute to the uptime and availability of our semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as maintenance technician, ensuring familiarity with all aspects of the equipment, software, and facilities to operate, maintain, and meet factory Operational Availability goals.
2. Independently follow engineering guidance, procedures, and other resources such as OEM schematics to repair and maintain electro-mechanical assemblies across various equipment including epitaxy reactors, metrology, and clean line equipment.
3. Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
4. Manage compliance of manufacturing and production processes with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
5. Adapt and take on other duties as assigned by the management team.
6. Collaborate with equipment and process engineering teams and production teams to implement improvement ideas into production.
7. Troubleshoot to identify root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment-related issues to minimize downtime and improve mean time before failure.
8. Provide feedback to Equipment and Process engineering to improve Preventative Maintenance, Mean Time Before Failure, Failure Rate, and defects.

Education:

• Associate degree, two-year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred

Requirements:

• Minimum five years of experience.
• Knowledge of semiconductor equipment such as Epi, CVD, Plasma is preferred.
• Good knowledge of engineering practices: Operational Availability, reading electrical schematics, metrology, SPC control, root cause analysis, CA/PA methodology.
• Strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a can-do attitude towards resolving complex issues.
