Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join a dynamic team focused on preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing tools. The role involves a mix of hands-on repairs, calibrations, and preventive tasks in a clean-room environment.

The position offers day shifts with defined schedules and opportunities to mentor other technicians while upholding safety standards and process documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum AAS in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Technology, or Military Electronics degree.
• Prior semiconductor technician experience is a plus.
• Experience with machine technologies such as metal deposition, ion implant, wafer thinning, and electronic testing/probing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems including servo, stepper, AC and DC motors and controllers.
• Troubleshoot and repair electro-pneumatic systems including valves and vacuum equipment.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and repairs safely and accurately.
• Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment per maintenance specs and manuals.
• Use schematics, tools, gauges, and test equipment for calibration and repair.
• Train new hires and mentor fellow technicians as needed.
