Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment in a brand‑new semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will work with shift operations, area equipment engineers, and tool vendors to ensure optimal tool performance and reliability.

The role requires an associate degree in Mechatronics/ Electronics/ Robotics or 2+ years of maintenance experience, with hands‑on skills in mechanical, electronic, and PC/software fault resolution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment and automation.
• Experience with mechanical, electronic, and PC/software fault diagnosis.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and adapt between day/night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, sustain, and improve equipment in a brand‑new manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with operations, engineers, and vendors to maintain tool performance.
• Address preventative maintenance needs and document deviations.
• Maintain cleanroom discipline and safety protocols.
• Participate in projects to improve equipment availability and performance.
• Attend vendor/training sessions to enhance tool understanding.
