Job summary

NXP Semiconductors invites a Summer Engineering Intern to work at the ATMC wafer manufacturing facility in Austin, TX for about 12 weeks. You will learn semiconductor manufacturing basics, technology and operations, and mentor-guided troubleshooting of production equipment and processes.

You will drive real projects tied to safety, quality, delivery, and cost, delivering results and presenting to factory senior management at the internship end.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a BS in Engineering.
• Must be returning to school or graduating after internship.
• Desire to learn about the semiconductor industry.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting production equipment.
