Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking detailed and experienced Technicians to join our electronics assembly team, supporting the building of advanced hardware in a cleanroom/lab environment.

You will work with engineers on semiconductor systems, performing hand soldering, wire bonding, and other assembly tasks, while operating and calibrating tools and documenting work to policy. A 2-year technical degree or two years of applicable experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a 2 year technical school or applicable years of experience.
• Experience with hand soldering, wire bonding, and semiconductor assemblies.
• Able to communicate written and verbally.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning, maintenance, and or calibration of laboratory and equipment with limited supervision.
• Operates moderately complex equipment in the production of hardware using moderately complex manual skills with training and supervision.
• Documents their work consistent with work unit policy with limited supervision.
• Performs focused training to enable progression into higher skilled positions at the discretion of the supervisor.
• Other temporary assignments at the discretion of the supervisor.
