Job summary

LeanTeq in Milpitas, CA, is seeking a Chemical Technician to handle chemicals, cleanroom processing, and maintain production records in a detail-oriented manner. You will take measurements for critical dimensions and help ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance while meeting customer delivery schedules.

Working in a collaborative team environment, you’ll support design-of-experiments and process development, with safety as a top priority.

Qualifications

• Certificate or associate’s degree in chemical technology or related field.
• Some laboratory experience or equivalent experience working with chemicals is a plus.
• Must have demonstrated ability to follow instructions, handle delicate parts and equipment, and work with hazardous materials.
• Must be comfortable using computers for various workflows.

Responsibilities

• Works within a team to achieve customer-dictated delivery schedules.
• Works in a cleanroom environment for specialty processes.
• Supports design-of-experiments and customer process development.
• Handle chemicals, solutions, and chemical waste in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Performs cleaning operations on critical parts.
• Detail oriented, can follow production processes in a consistent and exacting manner.
• Maintain production records on all parts processed through each station.
• Take measurements for critical dimensions.
• Additional duties as assigned.
