Job summary

LeanTeq, a division of EnPro Industries, seeks a Chemical Technician to handle chemicals safely, work in a cleanroom, and maintain production records. The role supports process development and must meet ISO 9001:2015 standards while collaborating to meet delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities include operating in a team environment, cleaning critical parts, and taking measurements for critical dimensions, with attention to detail and proper waste handling.

Qualifications

• Certificate or associate’s degree in chemical technology or related field like chemical process engineering.
• Some laboratory experience or equivalent experience working with chemicals is a plus.
• Must have demonstrated ability to follow instructions, handle delicate parts and equipment, and work with hazardous materials.
• Must have pride in his or her work and a quality orientation.
• Must be comfortable using computers for various workflows.

Responsibilities

• Works within a team to achieve customer-dictated delivery schedules
• Works in a cleanroom environment for specialty processes
• Supports design-of-experiments and customer process development
• Handle chemicals, solutions, and chemical waste in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Performs cleaning operations on critical parts
• Detail oriented, can follow production processes in a consistent and exacting manner
• Maintain production records on all parts processed through each station
• Take measurements for critical dimensions
• Additional duties as assigned.
