Job summary

Broadcom is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for its Lehigh Valley/ Breinigsville facility. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing semiconductor processing equipment in service areas and cleanroom environments, performing preventive and corrective maintenance and other tasks assigned by supervision.

The candidate will interact with operators, technicians, and engineers to minimize downtime and ensure production reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing or similar field.
• Minimum AAS in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Technology, or equivalent on the job training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft, Oracle, and Google-based computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Operators, Technicians, Supervisors, and Engineers to prioritize tasks and minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment status using Emaint and plan for scheduled down times.
• Interpret SPC charts and historical data to identify root causes of failures.
• Perform mechanical assembly, helium leak detection for high vacuum applications, troubleshoot RF circuitry, and work with PLC platforms.
