Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Chemroom Operator to clean and refurbish parts used in semiconductor chip manufacturing. You will follow defined processes to chemically clean, etch and/or passivate parts, and will also use various tools and equipment to accomplish a consistent finish.

This role requires careful attention to safety, the ability to work in controlled chemical and wastewater environments, and willingness to travel to Pentagon facilities within the continental US as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parts cleaning is a plus
• Attention to detail
• 1 year experience in manufacturing desired
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment requiring quick turnaround

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and promote a safe culture
• Follow quality protocols to meet customer specifications
• Read and comprehend internal documents such as work orders and logs
• Visually inspect parts for cosmetic defects per criteria
• Prepare parts for chemical processing using fixtures or hangers
• Load parts into chemical tanks to meet process times
• Use jitterbugs, sanders, brushes, and pressure washers to detail parts
• Operate a hoist for lifting and moving heavy objects
• Multitask to process multiple parts simultaneously
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment daily
