• Purchase goods, materials, and services meeting cost/quality/delivery targets.
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Perform cost analysis using should-cost, bids, and cost breakdowns.
• Generate purchase orders per company requirements.
• Mitigate supply problems impacting operations and communicate with Gentex teams.
• Identify risks and drive mitigation solutions; escalate when needed.
• Monitor market trends and drive favorable actions for Gentex.
• Develop and implement cost reductions to meet PPV targets.
• Manage supplier relationships and provide performance feedback.
