Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. in Hayward, CA is seeking an Assembler to rapidly build high-quality assemblies on a first shift (Mon-Fri 5:00am-1:30pm) with overtime on Saturdays. This temporary role may convert to full-time after the contract period depending on performance and business needs.

The job requires attention to detail, ability to read schematics, and capability to work in a clean room while maintaining high productivity in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience in manufacturing assembly
• Electrical assembly and reading schematic experience are a plus
• Experience working in clean rooms is a plus
• Fluent in English with good communication
• Capable of following detailed procedures for hand assembly
• Soldering skills a plus
• Maintain high productivity
• Manufacture high quality assemblies
• Must be a self-starter that can work independently without much supervision
• Work well as a team player with a positive “can do” attitude
• Independent worker that can follow detailed instructions with limited oversight
• Maintains a clean, organized safe work environment

Responsibilities

• Includes, but is not limited to, the following.
• Following a detailed procedure, you will be responsible for the inspection of parts, kitting parts, and assembly of a complex mechanism using hand tools
• You will record data, complete thefinal test of the assembly, and oversee thecleaning and packaging of the assembly.
