OPC - Boardman is seeking an experienced tractor-trailer driver to transport raw product and supplies within weight and DOT regulations. Local routes are within an 100 air mile radius, with night and weekend shifts required.

The candidate must have a CDL-A, a good driving record, and at least 2 years of driving experience. Ability to lift 80 lbs and perform duties outdoors in varying weather is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Follow Oregon Potato Company policies and safety rules.
• Operate and maintain tractor-trailer in a safe manner.
• Load, secure, transport, deliver and unload raw product and supplies.
• Inspect truck/trailer and comply with DOT regulations and record-keeping.
• Complete required logs and paperwork per DOT and company procedures.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays; harvest-season long shifts.
• Assist with yard/plant maintenance as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow Food Safety, Quality, Personal Safety, and any other Oregon Potato Company's Polices.
• Be a self-starter; ability to work independently as well as with other team members and management.
• Attend required company meetings and training and participate in constructive discussion.
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers and management.
• Operate equipment in a safe efficient manner.
• Have a valid CDL-Class A license and driving records that are acceptable to company insurer.
• Loading, securing, transporting, delivering and unloading raw product or any other suppl or material to and from destinations.
• Inspects powered truck and trailer in accordance to DOT regulations and company procedures
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance of DOT regulations and company procedures
• Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures, including utilizing proper PPE
• Maintains compliance with all DOT requirements, including driver log
• Assists with field maintenance, moving equipment, loading and unloading trucks
• Performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to yard and plant maintenance
• Work in outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures

Additional

• Complete special projects as assigned.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work long harvest hours between the months of September and November.
• Must be able to kneel, sit, and stand for long period of time.
• Must be able lift, carry, and pull up to 75lbs
