Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Salem, WI. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing semi trucks, with a strong emphasis on hands-on diagnostics and repair.

You will inspect engines, transmissions, emissions and electrical systems, perform PM services, and support safe, reliable operations. CDL is a plus but not required; 2+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and software is a plus.
• CDL license is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair engines, transmissions and emissions systems.
• Perform minor engine and transmission work (Detroit/Cummins).
• Conduct electrical work and PM service.
• Repair brakes, wheel seals, air leaks and related components.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
• Fabrication experience is a plus.
