Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. is seeking a warehouse team member for a night shift role. The position involves loading/unloading, stocking, and building product displays, with attention to safety and efficiency.

The role emphasizes coordinating trailer movements, adhering to DOT requirements, and maintaining secure trailer operations. Night hours are scheduled Monday–Friday, with weekends off, and a $4 shift differential is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years semi-tractor/trailer experience.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on warehouse business needs.
• Must meet and/or comply with applicable standards set forth in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act.
• Must meet hiring requirements documented in DOT CDL Policy.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, drug screen, motor vehicle and criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Handling tractor and trailers to ensure safety and prevent damage.
• Manage Keep full and empty trailers segregated; prepare a list of full/empty trailers daily.
• Plan: Obtain receiving schedule from all warehouses, open trailers to determine unloading sequence, search for PO numbers, and move trailers at specific times.
• Monitor: Check all trailers in the lot to ensure they are locked.

Pay Range: $20.14 - 24.47 Hourly PLUS $4 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

Scheduled hours for the role are Monday through Friday from 9:30pm-6:30am, with Saturday and Sunday OFF!
