BairesDev in Chile offers a fully remote SDET role. You will design and develop advanced test automation, use Python/JavaScript/Cypress/Java, and work with API and UI tests to ensure software quality.

You will mentor junior SDETs, collaborate with development teams, and optimize test processes while contributing to CI/CD pipelines. The position emphasizes flexible hours, USD compensation, and a global, multicultural team.

In this role, you are responsible for designing and developing advanced test automation solutions. You'll utilize your skills in programming and testing to ensure software quality, optimize test processes, and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

What you will do

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Cypress, or Java.
• Experience with API and UI testing.
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages used in test automation.
• Basic IT infrastructure and database knowledge.
• Experience in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Advanced level of English.
