Job summary

Truelogic, a nearshore staff augmentation provider based in New York, seeks a Semi-Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure. You will focus on IaC, CI/CD, observability, and platform reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role.
  • Hands‑on experience with AWS services, including ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, Route 53, and VPC.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Experience working with serverless architectures.
  • Hands‑on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • Programming or scripting experience with Python, Bash, Ruby, or similar languages.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and encryption.
  • Experience with CloudFront, API Gateway, AWS cost optimization, and Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Advanced English communication skills.

Job Summary

The Semi-Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. This position focuses on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, platform reliability, observability, and operational excellence while supporting the continuous evolution of a modern SaaS platform. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with AWS services, infrastructure automation, serverless architectures, and monitoring solutions, and enjoys collaborating with cross‑functional engineering, product, security, and SRE teams to improve platform scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.
