Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking Class A drivers for a semi-local role with home daily and competitive pay. Expect 13-hour days with a typical weekly mileage around 2,880 and no-touch freight in the CA/WA region. Start times range from 11am to 2pm, with five-day work weeks and layovers 2–3 times per week.

Drivers must be 21+, hold a valid CDL A, and pass DOT drug testing, background checks, and MVR reviews. Equal opportunity employer; safety and reliability are emphasized across all routes.

• Moving violations: no more than 2 in the last 3 years.
• Accidents: no more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years.
• Tickets: no more than 3 accidents and/or tickets; no more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience.

Compensation Pay: $1480 to $1600 per week.

Semi Local:

Monday to Friday, Start times: 11am-2pm. Driver will average a 13 hour day. Driver will layover an average of 2-3 times per week.

Drivers on this semi-local job will operate in CA and WA

Miles per week:

2880. No Touch Freight.

Duties:

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 21
• Valid CDL Class A license
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen. Urine Test.

Moving Violation

• No more than 2 in the last 3 years.
• Warnings on PSP will count towards moving violations.

Accident

• No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 incidents in the last 3 years.

Tickets

• No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets.
• No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience.

Felonies

All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file. Felony drug charges must be outside of 7 years.

Misdemeanors

All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.

DUI/DWI

• No more than 1 and it must be outside of 5 years old.
• If Driver has 2 DUI's, they will be considered if both are prior to 2002.
• Drivers with a DUI/DWI in a CMV may be considered for employment with appropriate SAP paperwork.
