Job summary

Overhaul Carriers Ltd. is seeking an experienced local truck driver to operate within a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY, and deliver freight on time. Home daily with a 5-day schedule (Tue–Sat, Sun/Mon off); a 6th day may be voluntary. Start times typically between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A license, clean MVR, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen. Candidates must meet safety and regulatory standards for local operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 3 accidents or incidents in the last 3 years.
• No more than 3 tickets/accidents with at most one preventable in 12 months.
• Felony drug charges outside of 7 years, others reviewed on file.
• DUI/DWI: No more than 1 and outside of 5 years; two DUIs may be considered with SAP paperwork.

Compensation

$1630 to $1920 per week.

Home Daily

Start 10AM to 2PM.
Schedule Tuesday to Saturday Off Sun and Mon.
5 day work with a 6th day on a voluntary basis.

Operating Area

Drivers on this local job will operate in a 250-mile radius of Chester, NY.

Duties

Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.

Requirements

Minimum age of 21, Valid CDL Class A license.
Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
Ability to pass a DOT drug screen., Urine Test.

Moving Violation

No more than 2 in the last 3 years.
Warnings on PSP will count towards moving violations.

Accident

No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years.
No more than 3 incidents in the last 3 years.

Tickets

No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets.
No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience.

Felonies

All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.Felony drug charges must be outside of 7 years.

Misdemeanors

All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.

DUI/DWI

No more than 1 and it must be outside of 5 years old.
If Driver has 2 DUI's, they will be considered if both are prior to 2002.
Drivers with a DUI/DWI in a CMV may be considered for employment with appropriate SAP paperwork.
