Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Aurora, CO is hiring a CDL-A Semi-Local Truck Driver for CO & WY routes. Earn $75,000 per year with regular home time and predictable weekday routes, hauling dry van freight with assigned equipment.

Route coverage includes Colorado and Wyoming with about 1,300 miles per week. You will unload using an electric pallet jack and liftgate, typically 1–2 stops per trailer, and unload times of 30–45 minutes. Mountain routes occur about twice weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card must be maintained.
• Clean driving record is required.
• No SAP drivers.
• Willing and able to chain as weather requires.
• Chaining experience preferred.
• Able to safely operate electric pallet jack and handle palletized freight.

Responsibilities

• Haul dedicated dry van freight across Colorado and Wyoming.
• Operate assigned equipment and maintain route discipline.
• Unloads by pallet jack and liftgate, manage palletized freight.
• Maintain safety and comply with DOT regulations.
• Work a Monday–Friday schedule with 3:00–4:00 AM start times.
• MTN routes occur ~2 times per week; weekends may be required.
