Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Illinois is hiring a CDL-A semi-local driver for a daytime route with home weekly. Expect earnings between $86,000 and $110,000 per year on mostly drop-and-hook, no-touch freight with about 2,200 miles per week. Work schedule is Monday to Friday with start times between 3am and 6am, 12-hour shifts, weekends off, and 1–2 nights at home each week. Benefits include a $100 weekly attendance bonus and occasional additional income opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days; endorsement costs reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Multi-stop deliveries to stores throughout the Midwest and Chicagoland.
• No-touch freight with drop-and-hook where possible.
• Home 1–2 nights per week on a 12-hour shift.
