Job summary

Pacific Northwest semi-local CDL-A driver position based in Fife, WA. You will haul packaged food from the Puyallup distribution center to warehouses and storage facilities across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana, with a Saturday through Wednesday schedule.

You’re home 2–3 nights a week, with 12–14 hour days, and an optional 6th day for extra pay. The job requires backing in tight spaces, unloading pallets with a pallet jack, and safe handling of live loads, with pay bonuses and benefits

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL held for required duration.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Comfortable backing in tight spaces.
• Able to chain up when weather requires.
• Able to unload pallets with a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry van shipments from Puyallup, WA to WA/OR/ID/MT.
• Unload pallets using pallet jack and assist with live unloads as needed.
• Perform safe, efficient, on-time deliveries within schedule.
• Operate automatic sleepers/day cabs depending on route.

Looking for a steady dry van job in the Pacific Northwest? This semi-local CDL-A position in Fife, WA hauls packaged food from the Puyallup distribution center to warehouses and storage facilities in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. You work Saturday through Wednesday, you’re home 2-3 nights a week, and you can pick up a 6th day if you want extra money.

Pay & Bonuses

• $0.68–$0.72 per mile on local runs.
• $0.63–$0.67 per mile on regional runs.
• $26 per live stop.
• $22.50 per drop & hook.

Schedule & Home Time

• Saturday–Wednesday schedule.
• Start times between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
• Usually 12–14 hour workdays.
• Home 2–3 nights a week.
• Extra 6th day available if you want it.
• Truck stays at the account while you're off.

Routes & Freight

• Dry van deliveries from Puyallup, WA across WA, OR, ID, and MT.
• Mix of storage facilities and warehouses.
• Approximately 9 driver-unload stops and 5 drop & hook stops per week.
• Unloading with an electric pallet jack and liftgate.
• Tight backing required at most stops.

Equipment

• Automatic sleepers and day cabs, depending on your route.
• Slip seating.
• Dry van trailers.
