Job summary

MarBorg Industries Inc. is seeking a Semi Driver-End Dump in Santa Barbara. The driver will operate a semi with an end-dump trailer to transport concrete and dirt, perform pre/post trip inspections, and ensure safe, efficient delivery to multiple locations.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, 3-5 years of End Dump experience, and a safety-conscious mindset. The job includes daily dispatch work, load securing, and regular safety meetings, with a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid commercial Class A driver’s license.
• 3-5 years of experience driving an End Dump Truck.
• Wheel loader experience loading material if such need arises.
• Ability to safely operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-trip & post-trip inspections. Complete and submit vehicle condition reports at the end of the shift.
• Operates Semi with an end dump trailer to transport concrete and dirt to various locations in a safe & efficient manner.
• Maneuver truck into and out of minimum clearance spaces, using mirrors to back distances up to approximately 120 feet.
• Uses extreme caution when turning corners while operating the Semi with an End Dump Trailer.
• Tarps all loads and secure load in trailer.
• Secures and verifies correct connections to king pin and fifth wheel assembly, air, and hydraulic lines before each route start and before each trailer swap.
• Courteously interact with customers to answer questions or respond to requests and notify supervisor of any issues.
• Maintains communication with Recycling Yard Facility Supervisor to work efficiently.
• Must use tablet to service the work orders assigned by the dispatcher.
• Reports incidents immediately to Department Supervisor.
• Attend weekly mandatory safety meetings.
• Maintains a clean truck.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
