Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Semi Driver in Duncanville, TX.

This role involves operating local semi-trailer equipment, loading and unloading heavy machinery, and guiding customers on safe usage. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional on–call rotations.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted CDL A with Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years of semi experience; wrecker/flatbed preferred.
• Physically able to load, offload, and secure equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load, offload, and secure equipment safely and efficiently.
• Instruct customers on safe and proper operation of equipment.
• Complete paperwork accurately and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain professional, clear communication with customers and coworkers.

Hiring Immediately; Pay Dependent on Experience, PAID WEEKLY!

Typical Schedule : Monday – Friday with the occasional rotating on call schedule

Typical Shift: 7AM - 5PM (Overtime eligible)

Position Requirements

Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.

• You must have an unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a semi is required, as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Must possess physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders
• You are customer-oriented, you will instruct customers on the safe & proper operation of the equipment, complete paperwork, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• You are a team-player maintaining communication with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Are you bilingual in Spanish? That’s a plus!
• Safety oriented, you make safety a top priority maintaining safety standards and a safe driving record.
• Coachable, willingness to learn, adapt, and meet Sunstate's standard of excellence.
• Detail oriented and capable of providing superior customer service.
