Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Semi Driver to join our local fleet in Duncanville, TX. This role requires a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and a DOT Medical Card, plus at least two years of semi driving experience, preferably with heavy equipment.

You'll load, secure, and transport equipment, educate customers on safe operation, and maintain safety standards. We offer weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) plan with company matching, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and valid DOT Medical Card.
• At least 2 years experience driving semi, preferably wrecker/flatbed hauling heavy equipment.
• Load, unload and secure equipment with chains and binders.
• Customer-oriented; instruct customers on safe operation and handling of equipment.
• Team-player with strong communication; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Safety-focused with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Hiring Immediately; Pay Dependent on Experience, PAID WEEKLY!

Typical Schedule : Monday – Friday with the occasional rotating on call schedule

Typical Shift: 7AM - 5PM (Overtime eligible)

Position Requirements

• You must have an unrestricted class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a semi is required, as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Must possess physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders
• You are customer-oriented, you will instruct customers on the safe & proper operation of the equipment, complete paperwork, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• You are a team-player maintaining communication with co-workers and customers effectively and professionally.
• Are you bilingual in Spanish? That’s a plus!
• Safety oriented, you make safety a top priority maintaining safety standards and a safe driving record.
• Coachable, willingness to learn, adapt, and meet Sunstate's standard of excellence.
