Job Title: Selling Flex Associate at Belk

Key Responsibilities

1. Providing Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, support store goals, handle transactions professionally, and thank customers by name.
2. Demonstrating Initiative: Offer assistance proactively, use suggestive selling, meet credit rewards and clienteling goals, and understand store assortment and inventory.
3. Continuous Learning & Innovation: Use mobile devices and digital technology, promote the Belk app, and assist with online merchandise lookups and orders.
4. Focusing on Results: Meet sales goals, recommend products, reduce shrinkage, work professionally with staff and customers, maintain store appearance, support merchandise setup, follow inventory procedures, and adhere to store policies.

Minimum Requirements

• No formal education required; retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to learn industry technology.

Physical Requirements

• Use of computer equipment, handling sensor tags, pushing/pulling stock carts, and lifting 25-50 pounds.
