Job summary

VitalCaring is seeking a Selling Area Sales Director in the United States (Nevada area) to lead a multi-source referral network and grow a high-performing sales team within a home health and hospice setting.

You will recruit, coach, and guide a small team to achieve 15+ monthly admits per territory while collaborating with branch leadership to expand service delivery and patient impact. A strong track record in healthcare sales and people leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• College degree required and valid state driver’s license.
• One year of home health or healthcare sales experience.
• Knowledge of business and fiscal management, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a group of referral sources as a distinct sales territory.
• Recruit, hire, develop and retain a high-performing sales team that can grow to up to 3 team members.
• Utilize tools and market knowledge to understand market dynamics and identify productive sources of growth.
• Develop market specific sales strategies and execute them with the team.
• Mentor team members through one-on-one coaching to grow their territory and skills.
• Collaborate with branch leadership to address issues and expand growth potential.
• Foster accountability and teamwork; own sales objectives.

As the Selling Area Sales Director, you will:

• Directly manage a group of referral sources as a distinct sales territory
• Recruit, hire, develop and retain a high-performing sales team that can grow to up to 3 team members that can each maintain a minimum of 15 incremental admits per month
• Utilize tools and market knowledge to understand market dynamics and identify productive sources of growth
• Develop market specific sales strategies in conjunction with your supervisor and work through your team to execute on these strategies
• Actively engage with each team member through one-on-one mentoring to help them grow and develop their territory and their professional skills
• Collaborate closely with branch leadership to address issues, overcome obstacles, improve service levels and expand growth potential
• Nurture a culture of accountability and teamwork
