CTPS safeguards every financial transaction across all Amazon sites, while striving to ensure that these efforts are transparent to our legitimate customers. As such, CTPS designs and builds the software systems, risk models and operational processes that minimize risk and maximize trust in Amazon.com.

Job Description:

Amazon is seeking dedicated, hardworking, analytical, and results-oriented individuals. Candidates will be responsible for a wide range of duties related to investigating and eliminating online e-commerce risk. The position requires an analytical mind, detailed investigation skills, and excellent judgment. Productivity and quality assurance will be evaluated along with overall contribution to the department's development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate effectively via live video call with our customer base – third-party sellers who want to sell on Amazon in its various marketplaces.
  2. Review seller’s identity details (information & documents) over a live video call.
  3. Verify ownership of documents submitted by sellers.
  4. Assess legitimacy of documents by reviewing online copies.
  5. Reduce avoidable friction for legitimate sellers and stay updated on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.
  6. Serve as Amazon ambassador, offering live assistance to sellers during identity verification and helping them complete the process.
  7. Provide strong customer service skills via live video call.
  8. Maintain composure during calls as a representative of the Amazon brand.
  9. Be flexible to be trained for additional skills and work types.
  10. Identify and help minimize risks posed by fraud patterns and trends.
  11. Achieve/exceed weekly productivity and quality standards.
  12. Participate in ad hoc projects/assignments as necessary.

These positions are ideal for recent graduates or individuals with customer service backgrounds. Proficiency in German & English (speaking, reading, and writing) is required, with the ability to produce grammatically correct, concise, and accurate responses. Candidates should be able to pronounce standard German & English words clearly. Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to communicate complex issues effectively. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) are required. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks is essential. Prior experience in customer service, retail, or support roles involving German & English is preferred. Knowledge or experience in fraud/risk management is a plus but not essential. Experience in insurance, finance, data analysis, research, translation, or training in German & English is advantageous. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and self-discipline skills are necessary. A positive, results-oriented attitude and a passionate commitment to Amazon’s customer-centric mission are essential.
