Job summary

Stalmic Distributors, Inc. in Lakeland, FL is seeking a delivery driver to drop off products to customers on a designated route. You will operate a 20–25 ft tandem trailer, ensure safe loading, and complete delivery paperwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver products to clients safely and on time.
• Inspect orders before and after unloading for accuracy.
• Interact with clients politely to ensure satisfaction.
• Follow routes and local traffic laws; complete delivery reports.
• Ensure accurate delivery/inventory; handle invoicing as needed.
• Operate a 20–25 ft tandem trailer and conduct safety checks.

Our team is hiring a delivery driver to bring products to our customers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. We can’t wait to hear from you! You will be driving a Dodge Ram 3500 hooked to a 25-foot-long enclosed cargo trailer with tandem axles. Please have the ability to do so or the willingness to learn in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Transport, and deliver new products to clients in a safe and timely manner
• Inspect orders before and after unloading for accurate delivery
• Interact with clients politely and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
• Deliver products to customers while following assigned routes and local traffic laws
• Make delivery reports as needed
• Ensure the safe delivery of our products to customers
• Delivery of products to customers following a predetermined route
• Hauling of a 20-to-25-foot enclosed trailer with tandem axles
• Interaction with customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Inspect orders and remaining load to ensure delivery/inventory accuracy
• Invoice completion
• Following all traffic laws and company policy to ensure safety

Qualifications

• Must have graduated high school or received equivalency
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or related job preferred
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL) a plus
• Lift at minimum 25 pounds
• Excellent communication skills and time management skills
• Valid (no CDL required) driver’s license, with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen, MVR, and background check
• The ability to repeatedly lift and move 25+ pounds
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to be away from home during the week and home on weekends
• Communication and time management skills
• Previous experience away from home and/or pulling a tandem axle trailer preferred

Compensation

$35,000 - $40,000 yearly
