Storage Star Management is seeking a Self Storage Store Manager to be the face of the company, overseeing daily operations, rental activities, payments, and security. You will deliver exceptional customer service and uphold a clean, secure facility.

The role emphasizes team collaboration, goal attainment, and on-site leadership with opportunities for growth and development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service and sales experience.
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Be the friendly face of Storage Star Management for customers in person and over the phone.
• Manage daily operations, rent units, process payments, and maintain security and cleanliness.
• Meet site sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Perform light maintenance and cleaning to keep the facility in top shape.
• Conduct daily lock checks and assist training of new hires.
• Occasionally travel to other locations as needed.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Be the friendly face of our company, assisting customers in person and over the phone.
• Manage daily operations, including renting units, processing payments, and ensuring the facility is secure and well-maintained.
• Meet company and site sales goals while providing outstanding service.
• Perform light maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep our facility in top shape.
• Conduct daily lock checks to ensure the site meets security and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with training new hires and help them get acclimated to our processes.
• Handle occasional off-site errands and travel to other locations as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of customer service and sales experience.
• A positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of daily tasks.
• A valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and walk the entire facility at least twice a day.
• Comfort with performing light maintenance and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Work Schedule:

Shifts varies weekly, 5 days a week, hours are:

• Monday: 9:30 AM - 6:0 0 PM
• Tuesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Friday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

No late nights or early mornings!
