Most important, we are thankful for our employees and are proud to have one of the most exciting project portfolios in the business.Self-Perform Assistant EstimatorServe as an integral part of Consigli's Self Perform team.Essential Functions- Assist in quantity take-offs and estimate development for concrete, demo, finishes, masonry restoration, rough framing, drywall, exterior skin, and ceilings on selected projects, while preparing cost comparisons and reconciliations with previous estimates.
- Support buyout of subcontractors and suppliers, writing contacts and material purchase agreements for scopes of work.
- Develop submittal packages, shop drawings, etc. for all self-perform packages awarded.
- Perform site visits to ongoing self-perform operations, serving as a resource for field crews to understand how initial plans were generated.
Required Experience- Bachelors' degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field required.
- 0 - 5 years' experience in the construction industry required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter who is highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong time management skills;. Works well as a team member;
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and create efficiencies.
