Job summary

The Arc of Monroe in New York seeks a full-time supervisor to manage day-to-day operations and all aspects of Self-Direction Services. You will serve as a resource for people supported, their families, and staff, promoting a person-centered approach and coaching the Self-Direction Specialists.

The role leads the Support Broker and Fiscal Intermediary team, ensures provision and payment of supports per plans, and may carry a small FI/Broker caseload.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with required years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Minimum 1 year Self-Direction experience as FI and/or Broker.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience required.
• Equivalent combinations will be considered.

• Base Pay $26.00 - $29.00 / Hour

To manage the day to day operations and all aspects of Self-Direction Services. To act as a resource for people supported, their families, and their staff in creating and maintaining a person-centered approach through self-directed services. To provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to the Support Broker and Fiscal Intermediary team (Self-Direction Specialists). To ensure provision and payment of supports as outlined in each self-directed plan. Will be required to carry a small FI and/or Broker caseload.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and two years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  Or
• Associates Degree in a related field and 4 years’ experience, working with individuals with intellectual and development disabilities
• Plus at least 1 year of Self Direction experience, as and FI and/or Broker required.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience required.
• Current Broker trainings required by OPWDD preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be considered.

Licensure/Certification

• Valid NYS Driver's License.
• Availability of insured personal vehicle to transport self and occasionally person supported as necessary.
• Additional liability insurance for occasional transport of person supported is recommended.

Summary

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, internal equity, and location.
