Job summary

Living Resources Corp in New York State is seeking a qualified professional to manage fiscal intermediary tasks within self-direction programs. You will handle billing, reporting, compliance, and coordination with brokers and care staff to support participants and families.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in Self-Direction, familiarity with Self-Direction EHR, and strong written/interpersonal skills, alongside a HS diploma or GED and a valid NYS driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Self-Direction programs as Fiscal Intermediary or Broker.
• Experience with Self-Direction EHR (electronic records) preferred.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
• HS Diploma or GED and valid NYS Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Billing and payment of approved goods and services for the participant.
• Fiscal accounting and reporting.
• Ensure Medicaid and corporate compliance.
• General administrative supports and staff management.
• Provide training to the participant on employer responsibilities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Billing and payment of approved goods and services on behalf of the participant.
• Fiscal accounting and reporting.
• Ensure Medicaid and corporate compliance.
• General administrative supports.
• Verify staff employment eligibility.
• Help the participant manage staff.
• Participate in annual and/or semi-annual Life Plan meetings to discuss issues related to self-directed staffing and/or supports and budget expenditures, as required or as requested.
• Participate in Circle of Support/Care Planning Team meetings as a budget resource, as needed or as requested.
• Incident Management - reporting/investigating related to self-hired staff, as required and in coordination with incident management team.
• Provide training to the participant on his/her employer responsibilities.
• Work cooperatively with independent and agency brokers.
• Provide educational and training support to participants, families, brokers, staff, and interested parties.
