Qualifications

• Must hold NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities and NJ Preschool through Grade 3 certification.
• Experience in self-contained preschool special education.
• Experience implementing IEP goals.
• Ability to document and analyze student performance data.
• Ability to collaborate with CST members and related service providers.

Responsibilities

• Foster a nurturing and trusting academic environment in the classroom.
• Implement lesson plans aligned with NJPTLS and Creative Curriculum.
• Develop and implement differentiated instruction aligned to IEP goals.
• Document and analyze student performance data for progress monitoring.
• Experience with behavior modifications for the whole class and individuals.
• Collaborate with administrators, CST members, related service providers, and other staff.
• Utilize technology effectively in daily lessons.
• Assist students with toileting and hygiene practices.
