Maintains proficiency regarding transactions and accuracy of tender. Performs various customer service duties while maintaining a safe and sanitary shopping environment.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Maintains a consistent position at the entrance of the self-checkout lane when not assisting customers.* Directs and invites customers to use self-checkout lanes based on availability and payment method options.* Resolves varying customer interventions accurately and with a sense of urgency.* Closely monitors all transactions for accuracy.* Role model for “Jump-Over-the-Counter Service Excellence”* Monitors, scans, and labels items on the bottom of the shopping cart.* Communicates customers needing carry out assistance to courtesy clerks.* Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.
