Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Danville, IL is hiring a Warehouse Selector III for our distribution team. You will read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity, pull items, and transport them along the line using powered equipment.

This full-time role emphasizes safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Earn $23.25 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 7:00 am.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Read, write, and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity for each order.
• Pull correct quantities of open-case items and place in tote to complete order.
• Pull correct quantities of full-case items and lift onto conveyor line, pallet, or cart.
• Transport selected full-case product, using powered equipment if needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.

• Pay Rate: $23.25 per hour.
• The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday with a 7:00 am start time.

What You’ll Do As a Warehouse Selector III

• Read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity required for each order.
• Pull correct quantities of open-case items and place in tote (use multiple totes if needed) to complete order.
• Pull correct quantities of full-case items and lift onto conveyor line, pallet, or cart.
• Transport selected full-case product, using powered equipment if needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
