Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Warehouse Selector III in Danville, IL. The role involves reading labels, selecting items, and preparing orders for shipment across a busy distribution center.

You will pull quantities from open and full-case items, operate powered equipment when needed, and follow safety protocols to protect colleagues and products. The position offers a stable schedule and competitive benefits beginning after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity for each order.
• Pull correct quantities of items and place in tote to complete orders.
• Pull full-case items and load onto conveyor, pallet, or cart.
• Transport selected product using powered equipment if needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.

• Pay Rate: $23.25 per hour.
• The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday with a 7:00 am start time.

What you'll do as a Warehouse Selector III:

• Read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity required for each order.
• Pull correct quantities of open-case items and place in tote (use multiple totes if needed) to complete order.
• Pull correct quantities of full-case items and lift onto conveyor line, pallet, or cart.
• Transport selected full-case product, using powered equipment if needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
