Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Selector II in Danville, IL for an overnight, full-time position. You will read labels, pull product quantities, and place items in totes while maintaining safety in a fast-paced distribution environment.

This role operates Monday–Friday with a 12:30 am start. The pay is $21.25 per hour, with benefits beginning after 60 days, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or GED preferred or required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform job tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity for each order.
• Pull correct quantities from a slot location and place in a tote or box.
• Push tote/box along a conveyor line and continue until the order is complete.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.

• Pay Rate: $21.25 per hour.
• They typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday with a 12:30 am start time.

What You’ll Do As a Warehouse Selector II

• Read or scan labels to identify slot location, product description, and quantity required for each order.
• Pull correct quantities of designated products from a slot location and place in a tote or box.
• Push tote or box along a static conveyor line, continuing to pull items until order is complete (multiple totes or boxes may be needed).
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to people and products.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
