Job summary

Import Mex in Port St Lucie, FL is seeking a warehouse order picker to assemble orders for shipment. You will read customer orders, locate, count, and safely stack product on pallets, and verify accuracy before sealing and tagging containers.

Daily duties include operating pallet jacks (single/double), maintaining clean work areas, adhering to SQF procedures, and reporting any damaged goods. The role requires bilingual communication in English and Spanish, strong basic math, and the ability to

• Pass pallet jack certification.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Able to read and communicate in English and Spanish.

• Seal and tag containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.
• Operate a single or double pallet jack in a safe manner to organize product for shipment.
• Responsible for completing and adhering to all training documents and procedures relating to SQF.
• Responsible for cleaning damaged products as needed and reporting damage to supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse minimum production rate.
• May be required to perform other tasks as necessary.

Overview

Port St Lucie Area

Assemble orders for shipment to customers in accordance with Import Mex’s quality and performance standards.

Schedule

Monday- Friday 12 pm- 9 pm or until completed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select, organize, and stack product on a pallet in a manner that no damage occurs during loading and delivery
• Seal and tag containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm
• Operate a single or double pallet jack in a safe manner to organize product for shipment

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass the pallet jack certification test
• Ability to read, write, and possess basic math skills
• Ability to reach, lift, and stack cases ranging in weight from 1 to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
