Job description

Join our team to play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of products through our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to select and prepare cases and other containers of food and non-food products for customer orders. These items will be organized on pallets, moved to the loading dock staging area, wrapped, labeled, and readied for shipment. You will be expected to adhere to safety regulations and quality standards, functioning as a key member of our team.

Position Responsibilities

• Adhere to all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures as per company guidelines. Report any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.
• Review work schedule, gather necessary supplies, and prepare for operations. Conduct safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and ensure all safety devices are functioning properly. Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards as per location and company guidelines.
• Operate pallet jack along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
• Manually place appropriate stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks as required, using single and/or double pallets as directed.
• Transport completed palletized customer orders to the shipping dock staging area. May be required to shrink-wrap pallets for staging.
• Manage battery recharging, replacement, or attachment to re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist. Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6-12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
• Capability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Able to lift and stack products between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, including cooler, freezer, and dry areas.

Workweek: Sunday through Thursday

Hours: 3:00 PM until Finish
