Job Description and Requirements

General Description: Support the Select (small business) property and casualty regional sales teams by providing technical expertise. Responsibilities include program design, limit review and benchmarking, experience modification review, coverage placement, carrier relations, and claim analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing property and casualty analytics such as ModMaster, property valuations, coinsurance penalties, flood zone determinations, and cyber breach estimators.
  • Review insurance contracts for compliance, including structure, coverage, limits, deductibles, and classifications, and recommend improvements.
  • Use benchmarking to help clients optimize insurance program design.
  • Utilize ReferenceConnect for classification and policy reviews.
  • Participate in meetings, contribute ideas, and enhance engagement with tech resources.
  • Train and mentor sales associates on analytics and technical topics.
  • Guide sales associates and practice leaders on claims issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with insurance carriers.
  • Collaborate with technical peers and shared resources to develop value differentiators.
  • Work with partners and clients to improve products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Promote USI’s reputation with influencers, prospects, and carriers.
  • Willing to travel as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3-5 years of property & casualty experience, including risk management and claims.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Property & Casualty license required.
  • Experience with analytics software such as ModMaster, NCCI, ReferenceConnect, Advisen, and CoreLogic.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and agency automation systems.

USI offers comprehensive benefits, including health, wellness, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible spending, disability, life insurance, paid time off, and more. Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000, with a target bonus of 10%.
