Seizure Monitoring Technologist – Full‑time, night‑shift position at Baptist Medical Center in Downtown Jacksonville, FL.

Sign‑On Bonus: up to $5,000 available.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24‑hour visual monitoring of seizure patients in the Neuro ICU and EMU via remote video system.
• Intervene when indicated based on patient status.
• Maintain components of the monitoring system.
• Communicate with staff and members of the Comprehensive Epilepsy team regarding patient seizure status.
• Provide extensive patient/family education.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team care with rehab professionals, nurses, physicians, social services, respiratory therapists, and support staff.
• Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
• Adhere to budget guidelines.
• Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.

Experience Requirements

• One to two years of long‑term monitoring/EEG experience.

Education & Credential Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) – required.
• Registered in Continuous Long‑Term Monitoring (LTM) – preferred.
