Responsibilities:

• Serve meals and/or beverages following established procedures.
• Perform various duties to ensure satisfactory guest service.

Position Summary:

Serves meals and/or beverages according to established procedures and performs various duties incidental to providing satisfactory service to guests.

Typical Duties:

• Set up tables with clean linens and silverware based on anticipated service needs.
• Fill water glasses and pour beverages for guests.
• Take guest orders, serve meals, explain menu items and specials, and answer questions.
• Clear and reset tables promptly; restock service stations.
• Present checks for signature or payment, itemize, and total the bill.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 6 months of experience as a waiter/waitress, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
