This full-time position offers a compensation range of $18.39 to $24.95 per hour, based on collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in gathering food supplies and equipment for cooks and help in food preparation, including grill and broiler activities.
  • Operate various kitchen machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare and serve food, including making up patient trays and serving food onto containers or trucks.
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards by cleaning utensils, equipment, and work areas.
  • Follow instructions for food storage, handling, and preparation to ensure quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of food preparation methods.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand oral and written instructions in English.
  • At least 1 year of experience in commercial food service or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to lift approximately 40-50 pounds.
