Job Summary
We are seeking a personable, motivated, and service-oriented Solar Sales Representative to join our growing solar maintenance team! In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers, helping them understand our services and solutions, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience from inquiry to project completion. The pay is $36,000 per year plus commission.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in person, over the phone, and via email to explain solar maintenance services and solutions.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads in both residential and commercial sectors.
- Educate customers on solar panel performance, upkeep, and long-term value.
- Coordinate with the operations team to schedule assessments, maintenance, and follow-up visits.
- Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and service documentation.
- Occasionally assist in on-site evaluations or support inventory management related to maintenance tools and materials.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or sales (solar, roofing, or home services preferred).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
- Basic understanding of solar energy systems (training provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be organized, self-driven, and capable of multitasking.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service.
- Willingness to work well in a team environment.
